- John Sutton, lord of Duddeley and lord of a moiety of the lordship of Dynaspowys in the county of Glamorgan;. 2. John Smyth of Dynaspowys and Matilda his wife. Grant in free-farm of one tenement of 201/2 acres of arable land and 11/2 acres of meadow formerly of John Adam Neel and late in the hand of Thomas Smyth as they lie in the moiety of the Sid lordship, and two acres lying together there in a place called Esterdowne between the land of Robert Gybon on the west part and the land of Thomas Sampford on the east part, and one messuage with 21/2 acres there late in the hand of Joan, late wife of Adam Neel, 8 acres of land and pasture called le Ilonde and le Weyhym, 5 acres of meadow in le Estemore, and 2 acres of meadow near Stonyfford called Hardynismede with a way called Hamysway, to hold for the term of their lives, rendering to granter 27s. 7d. annually, suit of court, and a heriot when due, with remainder after their death to Thomas Smyth son of the said John Smyth and Wenlian his wife, and their heirs, the heirs of the said John Smith and Matilda, and the grantor and his heirs.
