A copy of Rhys Jones, Gorchestion Beirdd Cymru ... (1773), with manuscript notes by Edward Charles. Bound with the volume is a manuscript collection of verse in Welsh and English in several hands of the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century, the greater part appearing to have been written by Thomas Humphreys in London. The poems include Cerdd Rowland o'r Pandy i'w gariad, Cywydd marwnad Rhisiart Morys ..., Englynion i'r Eos ... (Caerwys Eisteddfod), and cerddi, cywyddau and englynion by Robert Williams, Thomas Humphreys, Sion ap Rhisiart, Sion Owen o Egryn, Richard Williams, Ed[ward] Puw, Llywelyn Ddu, Mathew Owen, Pedr Gwilym, Iorwerth ap Ioan, Robert Evans, Robyn Ddu, Hugh Llwyd Cynfel, R. O. Ragad, Sion Gwilym, Rhys Jones o'r Blaenau, Rissiart Jones Trefdraeth ym Mon, Simwnt Fychan, Dafydd Ellis, y Parchedig Sion Morgan, Jonnathan Huws, Iorwerth Gwilym o Forganwg, Elis Cadwa[ladr] and Evan Evans.
