[Geraint Morgan, MP for Denbighshire]. Was so vexed by the recipient's letter that he came down to Cardiff specifically to see Mr Wyn Roberts and other TWW staff. Also took the opportunity to look at the score of MPs' participation. Realises that the recipient takes part in far more Welsh programmes than English ones, and understandably so for he is one of the few Conservative MPs who is able to speak Welsh fluently, and indeed quite attractively. There is a need for the staff to look at the members from a rather different viewpoint as far as English programmes are concerned. The attractiveness of the speaker and the attractiveness of what he does must count. Has no great personal liking for Donald Box, but he is notably attractive on television 'because he is always so wrong and so controversial'. If the recipient would like to take part in more English-language programmes on television, then he should aim to be more controversial than he is. Huw T. Edwards is writing as a personal friend who is interested both in the recipient and in television. Feels sure that the recipient has more time on TWW than the average MP. The recipient can rest assured that there are many demands from MPs who have not received an equal share with him. The recipient's claim will always be in the mind of Wyn Roberts.
