Final concord made in the King's court of his lordship of White Castle held at Grossmont, Wednesday, 3 June, 7 Edward IV, before John ap Gwillym, esq., then deputy of the steward there, William ap Howell ap Thomas, master sergeant, William ap John ap Jenkyn, Morgan Thedewith, Thomas William, Thomas ap Howell ap David ap Ady, William ap David ap Howell Acoyd, suitors of the court, and other faithful men of the King then present there, between William, Lord Herbert, complainant, and Ieuan ap Philip ap Ieuan ap David and Wladus, his wife, deforciants, of two parcels of arable land lying in the parish of Lantelio Gressenny, of which one is called Caychymney and the other lies there between metes and bounds, as more fully appears in the charter of Lord Herbert thereon; plea of covenant; to be held of the chief lord of the fee by rent and service belonging; for this acknowledgement, Lord Herbert gives Ieuan and Gladus and the King 6d. Parchment, good condition.
