The names of Henry Wynn and Mary Bodvill occur on the fly leaves, and the following epitaph in elegiacs occurs on the front leaf:
'In obitum Johannis Wynn milit: et barron: / qui obijt 1 Mar: 1627. / Qui christum colluit patriam bene rexit amicis / adfuit et miseris, auxit honore domum / Hostibus haud cessit, multa et preclara reliquit / mers nimis angusto clausit in hoc tumulo'.
The couplets are subscribed, in the same hand, 'Thom: Powel armiger', and a later hand has supplied 'per' and has substituted 'Barronet' for 'armiger'.
The manuscript is numbered 33.
