Note

Ganed yr arlunydd Cymreig Aneurin Jones (1930–2017) yng Nghwm Wysg, ar y ffîn rhwng siroedd Brycheiniog a Chaerfyrddin, yn fab i amaethwr. Ei brif arddull oedd adlewyrchu'r 'hen ffordd Gymreig o fyw', a byddai'n aml yn creu brasluniau mewn arwerthiannau amaethyddol.
= The Welsh artist Aneurin Jones (1930-2017) was born in the Wye Valley on the Breconshire/Carmarthenshire border to a farming family. His paintings tended to reflect the old way of life of rural Wales and he would often make his preliminary sketches at agricultural sales.
