A note on the fly-leaf reads: 'Gwilym Owen o 'Meirion. Cyvysgriviad o Lyvr I. gan Iolo Morganwg. Cyvysgrivid yn Heol Penton, B.A. 1800', and the original manuscript mentioned was probably NLW MS 13177E (Llanover E. 15).
