Original bundle of papers relating to the Cwmystwyth mine, including printed minutes of the adventurers of Cwmystwyth mine, 1849-1858 (missing 1852), the adventurers of the Cwmystwyth Mines Co. Ltd, 1859-1862, the shareholders of the Cwmystwyth Mines Co. Ltd, 1863-1875, and the shareholders of the Cwmystwyth Mines New Co. Ltd, 1876-1885; copies of reports on the mines and the geology, 1896-1930, including by F. Dietzsch on the mine, 1909, Stokes on Taylor's level and Mitchell's Lode, 1915, and extracts from Prof. O. T. Jones's Mem. Geol. Survey, vol. XX, 1922; a copy letterbook of out-going Cwm-Ystwyth Mines Ltd letters, July-Nov. 1917 (196 pp.); an envelope containing three plans and notes on sections and levels, 1909; letters, mainly from R. Richards of Ystumtuen, of Cwmystwyth being re-opened in 1929; and a brief report by P. Robinson & J. M. Moore to Mrs O. Fermanaglou of London on the mine and the prospects of re-opening, 1951. Some of the items are numbered in blue pencil in the range 1-16, and many are paginated.
