Administrative history
Zoar Chapel, otherwise known as both Soar and Walston Chapel was built in 1832, and registered as Zoar Calvinistic Methodist Chapel in 1835, but some graves predate the registration. Originally the language of the chapel would have been Welsh. The chapel was closed in July 1970, but for some time had shared a pastor with Mount Pleasant Church, Ely, Cardiff.
