Jones while writing the history of the Cardiganshire Constituency Labour Party (see 'Ceredigion', 9 (1981), 150-61) comprising a letter, [c. 1970x1975], addressed to him from James Griffiths, MP, which contains reminiscences on parliamentary elections in Cardiganshire (ff. 31-40); two letters, 1977, with a typescript note, from Islwyn ap Nicholas, Aberystwyth, on the history of the Aberystwyth branch of the Labour Party (ff. 41-4); and press cuttings, 1911-79, typescript minutes of meetings, 1960s, and miscellanea.
