Documents, including several copies and drafts, 1795-1796 and undated, of the Company of Proprietors of the Glamorganshire Canal Navigation, relating especially to a petition for An Act to Amend an Act of the Thirtieth Year of His present Majesty, for making and maintaining a Navigable Canal from Merthyr Tidvile, to and through a Place called The Bank, near the Town of Cardiff, in the County of Glamorgan, and for extending the said Canal to a Place called The Lower Layer, below the said Town. They include the printed Act, 1796; notices and minutes of the Company; a letter to the Company from Cha. Hassall; and letters to John Wood, Cardiff, law clerk to the Company, from Edwd.
