Bond of indemnity in respect of a sum of £140 lent by the said John Davies in conjunction with Robert Lloyd, clerk, deceased (father of the said Edward Lloyd) as executors of the will of Thomas Tanner, late bishop of St. Asaph. The said sum had been bequeathed by Bishop Tanner to the almshouse of St. Asaph, and had been lent by the executors to the trustees appointed for repairing and widening the road from the town of Denbigh to the town and port of Ruthland under an act of parliament of 32 George II entitled 'An Act for repairing and widening the roads from the town of Mold to the town of Denbigh, and from thence to Tal y Cafn and Conway, and from the town of Wrexham to the town of Ruthin and Denbigh and the town and port of Ruthland, in cos. Denbigh, Flint and Caernarfon'. Copy.
