A composite volume containing transcripts by Edward Williams ('Iolo Morganwg') of Welsh verse in free and strict metres. P. i is inscribed 'Hen Awdlau, Caniadau, a Phennillion amrafaelion eu rhywieu er dangos amrywiold[eb] Mesurau a mydrau Cerdd Dafod Beirdd Cymru mewn oesoedd Amrafaelion a'r amrafaelion newydiadau . . . ym mhrydyddiaeth Beirdd Cymru o amser beugilydd. Pp. 115-18 contain transcripts of notes on the use of double rhyme ('cyfochri') in some Welsh strict poetic metres and on the vaticinatory element in Welsh verse. These notes are attributed to Siôn Bradford. Edward Williams ('Iolo Morganwg') has inserted comments on some of the poems in the volume.
