A typescript copy of a register of the Particular Baptist Church of Capel-y-ffin, parish of Llanigon, Brecknockshire, and of Tabernacle, Cwmyoy, Monmouthshire, and its other branches, covering, with many interruptions, the period 1737-1921. It contains records of births, baptisms, deaths, and dismissals of church members; accounts of the opening of new chapels at Llanvihangel Crucorney, 1837, and at Foothog in the parish of Cwmyoy, 1838, and of a room at 'the Henllan' in Cwmyoy, 1839, and of Jubilee meetings at Capel-y-ffin and Tabernacle, Cwmyoy, 1842; accounts of the ordination of ministers; registers of members; financial accounts; etc.

The collection comprises records from the office of Williams & Williams, Haverfordwest, solicitors, largely deeds and draft deeds, mostly 19th century, and many relating to the Haverfordwest area of Pembrokeshire. In the course of their work, Williams & Williams accumulated legal and other papers relating to their clients interests, including the estates of Ambleston, Begelly, Brawdy, Camrose, Court House, Cwmgloyne, Hean Castle, Hodgeston, Hook, Manorbier, Manorowen, Orielton, Pigeonsford, Somerton, Treffgarne, Ty Gwynne, Walwyns Castle, Welsh Hook, Wilsons, Wolfsdale and Yelverton. There are also documents relating to the Fishguard Harbour Improvement Company, several railway companies and a large number of probate records and marriage settlements. There are also groups of deeds and documents relating mainly to properties in Carmarthenshire, Glamorganshire and Pembrokeshire. There are also documents relating to church properties, nonconformist chapels, poor rate papers, articles of apprenticeship and articles of partnership.

A notebook containing notes on forms of church government, philosophy, the early history of Capel-y-ffin Baptist Church, border antiquities (Ewyas Harold, Kilpeck, Kenderchurch, Rowlstone, Michael Church, Patricio, Craswall, etc.), characteristics of early architecture, the 'arrangement' of Llanthony Abbey, etc., together with some statistics of a Bible class at Pandy, 1873.

Holograph sermons by Rees Rees, Baptist minister, of Glascoed, Monmouthshire, 1848-1859. The sermons were preached at Glascoed, at Saron, Goitre, and at Tabernacle, Pontypool.
