The manuscript was given by Mrs Susanah Lloyd to the Rev. Robert Nanney of Llan Vwrog, who in turn gave it, on 28 August 1788, to the Rev. Robert R. Fenton; one of the Rev. Fenton's sons sold the manuscript to W. W. E. Wynne.
