A pocket-book, 1829-55, of John Davies (b. c. 1804), Quarry, parish of Clydau, co. Pembroke, shoemaker, mainly recording names of preachers, with texts of sermons, at Pontgarreg, Cenarth, and other Calvinistic Methodist chapels, as well as at Association and other CM meetings, in counties Carmarthen and Pembroke, together with occasional references to family and local events. The volume also includes transcripts of hymns and other verse, and other miscellaneous memoranda.

A volume containing poetry, mostly in Welsh, by William Edwards ('Cynlaisfab', d. 1920s), Glantawe, Ystradgynlais, co. Brecon, and afterwards of Blaengwynfi, co. Glamorgan, composed 1869-1920 and including poems entered for competition at local eisteddfodau. An index to the poems is included on the front and back covers and end-papers.

Holograph poetry by Hugh Jones ('Erfyl'), with annotations - 'Cywydd: Hiraeth Cymro am ei Wlad mewn Bro estron ... Testun Cymdeithas Cymmrodorion yn Mhowys, 1820; and 'Awdl: [Maes Garmon]' submitted for competition at the Mold Eisteddfod, 1823.

Literary compositions submitted for competition at the Crown Eisteddfod held at Llanarth, Cardiganshire, on 29 July, 1875, viz. 'Can o Glod i R. L. Lloyd, Nantgwyllt, fel Tirfeddianwr', translations into English of a portion of the 'awdl' 'Molawd Ynys Prydain' by David Owen ('Dewi Wyn o Eifion'), and prose translations into Welsh of a portion of Act III, Scene 2, of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, Prince of Denmark; together with adjudications by William Thomas ('Gwilym Marles'), Llandysul.

Albums of press cuttings (from the Central Glamorgan Gazette, Chronicle for South and Mid-Glamorgan, Barry Herald, etc.) compiled by 'Ioan Trithyd'. They consist largely of the compiler's own press contributions, in the form of poetry of local interest, 'Llith yr Hen Bacman', 'Llith Wmffra Llwyd', 'Ymweliad a Llanwrtyd', 'Hanes Llantrithyd ...', etc.

Holograph poems entitled 'Gardd Gethsemane' by Nathaniel Jones ('Cynhafal') (awarded the prize at an eisteddfod at Adwy'r Clawdd, 1859), 'Cywydd i'r Daeargryn' by R[ichard] Davies ('Mynyddog') (awarded the prize at an eisteddfod at Llanerchymedd, 1859), and 'Uffern' by M. Owen ('Meirig Wyn o Wynedd'), Pentrefoelas [after 1855]; an adjudication by [Thomas jones] ('Glan Alun'), William Williams ('Creuddynfab'), and [John Ceiriog Hughes] ('Ceiriog'); a press contribution entitled 'Blagur Llenyddol' by [Henry Rowlands] ('Henri Myllin'); and a holograph letter from [John Jones] ('Talhaiarn'), from Battlesden, Woburn, to [John Owen] ('Owain Alaw'), 1863 (the publication of 'penillion').

A collection of holograph poems and press cuttings of prose and verse by Robert Isaac Jones ('Alltud Eifion'), with some autobiographical data. The volume is described by the compiler as his second book - 'Ail Lyfr Barddoniaeth Alltud Eifion' - and was begun in 1874.

A pocket book belonging to William Thomas, Ty'ngadfan, Llanwnda (d. 1892), containing an incomplete metrical dialogue on temperance by Owen Griffith Owen, Bryncrin; 'Cwynfan gwraig meddwyn' (unsigned); an incomplete carol by Robert Jones, Bryn-y-gro; 'Cân ar ddull o ymdiddan rhwng Dyn a Llyffaint'; names of subscribers to Athraw Cerddorol and towards a Welsh oratorio; notes of sermons preached at associations held at Llangefni, Caernarvon, and Pwllheli, 1857-60; and a table of a Dinorwic quarryman's earnings, 1851-60.

P., surgeon, Blaenau Ffestiniog, the Reverend W[illiam] P[ari] Hughes, Dolgellau, and Wm. Davies, Junior, Managing Partner, The Diphwys Casson Slate Quarries Company, Blaenau Ffestiniog, the first (and presumably the other two) in support of their candidature for the posts of master and matron of Pwllheli Workhouse; and a holograph letter, 1936, from [Humphrey Jones] ('Bryfdir'), Rhiwbryfdir, to [J. W. Jones], enclosing copies of 'in memoriam' verses to Gwilym Morgan. Included in MS. 11065 is a holograph letter, 1899, from Robert Roberts, Blaenau Ffestiniog, to Gwilym Morgan, with observations on 'englynion' in English by the recipient.
