Closing of the Library Building to the Public
Due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19 and the well-being of readers and visitors, the Library building in Aberystwyth is closed to the public for an indefinite period.
Browse and search the Archives and Manuscripts of The National Library of Wales and make requests to view items in the Library.
Please note that wills, marriage bonds or Theses Collection Wales can only be discovered in the Catalogue.
You can now search through pdf versions of the Annual Reports 1909-2000 on the NLW website.
You will need to register as a reader in order to view items in the Library. If you have already registered, please login in the top right hand corner of the page.
Registering online will allow you to request items to view in the Library and may give you access to some Subscriptions from home (see What can I access?)
