Returned by Mr Jessop, 8 June 1943]; (2) five miscellaneous papers including a note of Robert Hesketh's income, 1799, a copy of the will of Robert Bamford Hesketh, 1823, opinion on the surname Bamford Hesketh, 1827, abstract of the will and codicils of the Dowager Countess Beauchamp, 1837-1839, and a statement of the personal estate of Sir Charles Wm Kent, bart, 1848; (3) nine papers relating to exchanges of land between the Kinmel and Gwrych estates, in St Asaph and Abergele, and the purchase of Bronhaul and Tynytwll in Abergele, 1814-1859; (4) twenty-seven papers including a rental of the estates of Mr Bamford in Bury, Rochdale, and Middleton, 1796, a rental of the Bamford estate in Lancashire with observations, 1806, a valuation of twelve estates of Robert Bamford, 1809, minutes and particulars of lands sold, 1809-1815, and John Elliotts accounts of rents, profits, and disbursements, 1810-1826; (5) about one hundred papers including correspondence relating to boundaries and exchanges of land in Abergele, 1829-1860, conditions of sale of Sirrior Hir, Abergele, 1843, and correspondence relating to the same, correspondence relating to Wyddfa and Ffosyblydd mines, 1846-1853, receipts for crown rents, 1825-1849, and correspondence relating to purchase, 1852, and letters from the Office of Woods and Forests re Abergele beach and Llysfaen enclosure, 1856-1860; (6) over one hundred and fifty letters and papers from S. Boothroyd, estate agent at Stockport, 1850-1860; (7) about one hundred papers including correspondence and accounts relating to property in Wrexham, 1827-1860; letters by Richard Llwyd, 1813, Simon Yorke, 1820, J. Meredith and Viscount Combermere, 1854, relating to genealogy, heraldry, and manuscripts; pedigrees and memoranda relating to the families of Lloyd, Bamford, and Hesketh, 1848-1849; a commission of lieutenancy granted to John Lloyd of Gwrych, 1703, and of the deputy-lieutenancy of Chester to Robert Hesketh, 1783; papers relating to the estate of Sir Charles W. Kent, bart, etc., 1848-1852; and.
