History
On 18 September 1875 the contract for building Zion Presbyterian Church, Buckley, was given to Mr Howard Peters of Leeswood at a cost of £800. In November 1875 the main foundation stone was laid by Mr Salisbury, MP, of Glanaber, Saltney. The chapel was officially opened on 24 June 1876.
In a Presbytery meeting at Holt held in November 1981 it was decided to close the chapel. A closing service was held on 25 November 1981. The chapel was in the Chester district of the Cheshire, Flint and Denbigh Presbytery.
