History

This series of deeds refer to Bryn y neuadd in Llanfairfechan and Varchwel in Caerhun, which belonged to Humphrey Roberts and his mother, Catherine, and in which Mary Wynne (née Roberts) of Plasnewydd had a life estate under the terms of her marriage settlement of 1751. Following Mary Wynne's death in 1814, the properties appear to have been inherited by her grandson, John Wynne of Garthmeilio.
