Writ from the Court of Exchequer to the sheriff of co. Denb., being an order to deliver possession of leasehold premises in Minera and Esclusham, co. Denb., including m's called Coedway, Hay Glasse or Brin Llandis, and Pant Dwll in Minera (occupants and acreages given), together with goods, chattels and effects including several steam engines (all of which are named), to Sarah Margaret Topping, widow; the said premises and goods, formerly in the occupation of John Halt Noble of Laurence Pountney Hill, London, merchant, Henry Hunt of the same place, merchant, John Bally of Brislington near Bristol, esq., dec., and Charles James of Minera, gent., were seized by the exchequer because default had been made in the repayment of a loan of £7,000 in Exchequer Bills; an inquisition was taken at the Town Hall, Wrexham, g Feb. 1825, by virtue of a Writ of Extent issued by the Court of Exchequer.
