History
L. Eirlys Williams (fl. 1933-1978), of Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire, wife of the Rev. E. J. Williams, carried out work for the Baptist Union of Wales over a period of forty years. The Union produced The Inset, a quarterly newspaper for the Welsh section of the Baptist Ministers' and Missionaries' Wives Prayer Union, beginning in October 1941. Mrs Williams was the editor, 1950-1964. The Baptist Missionary Society (Women's Missionary Association) produced a series of publications called Prayer Partners from 1933, translated into Welsh by Mrs Williams under the title Cymheiriaid Gweddi (later Partneriaid Gweddi), 1933-1975.
