Will (probate copy, with codicils dated 24 May and 8 June 1658) of Morris ap Richard of Lledrode, p. Llansilin, co. Denb., gent. Bequeaths the sum of £300 (reduced to £200, under certain conditions, in the first codicil) to his daughter Anne, to be paid by his son Thomas within 7 years after his decease. Until the said sum is paid, his daughter Anne is to occupy his m. in t. Lledrode, p. Llansilin, and then his son Thomas shall occupy the said property. Bequeaths £50 to be equally divided between the children of his son David within 10 years after his decease, and directs that David shall occupy the m. called Havodire in t. Lledrode, after the end of 10 years until the said sum of £50 be fully paid. Numerous bequests to relatives and others including 'poore people that are aged lame or younge people that are unable to worke and have noe meanes to live upon'. Included with this Will is a typescript letter, dated 24 Feb. 1926, from Alderman E. D. Hughes, JP, Wrexham, to R. H. G. Smallwood, relating to the above Will and the testator's descendants.
