This manuscript belonged to William Elias who was an agent to the Wynnes of Glynllifon, and a great deal of it was written by him from 1726 to 1743. Pages 136-70 were written by Michael Prichard of Llanllyfni, 10 Feb. 1727/8. The volume contains copies of poems - englynion cywyddau, dyriau - by Edward Morys, Ellis Rowland, Ellis Wynne, Evan William, D. Parry, Dafydd Gwilim, Humphrey Owen, Huw Morys, Humphrey ab Davidd ab Evan clochydd Llan brenn mair, Hugh Lloyd Cynfel, Isaac Humphrey, John Rhydderch, John Tudur, John Roger, Michael Prichard, Owen Gruffydd, Richard Phylip, John Phylip, William Philip, Richard William clochydd Llanllyfni, Mr Robert Lloyd o'r Garth, Robert ap Howel ap Morgan, Roland Vaughan, Rhys Goch o'r Yri, Thomas Prys o Blas Iolyn, William Elias, William Wynne o'r Ragatt, William Cynwal, William Llyn, Y wraig o Faesneyodd, etc. There are a few English verses including englynion in English by Roland Vaughan. Prose and miscellaneous items include triads, a table of interest, proverbs (Mabwaith hen Gyrys o Ial), Beiau ac anafau cerdd dafod, Ymadrodd Selyf Ddoeth, Gorchestion Dafydd Nanmor, a list of the names of gods and goddesses, etc.
