Morgan Humphreys' great-grandfather, the Rev Richard Humphreys, and of his grandfather, the Rev Edward Morgan, [1800]x1953; articles, radio scripts and addresses by E. Morgan Humphreys, 1902x1955; together with some personal and family papers, 1841x1955; articles, poetry, adjudications and letters to the editor of Y Genedl etc., by T. Llythyrau Kate Roberts at Saunders Lewis

Seventy-three letters in Welsh, 1923-83, from the novelist and short-story writer Kate Roberts to Saunders Lewis, reflecting the growth of Kate Roberts as a writer and the early recognition and constant encouragement shown to her in her literary career by Saunders Lewis. Other matters discussed include the activities of the Welsh Nationalist Party mainly before 1945 and the state of Welsh literature in general during the period of the correspondence.
