Will and codicil of Sir John Williams of Blaenllynant, Aberystwyth, formerly of Plas Llanstephan, co. Carm., bart., 1919 (includes bequests of £2000 to the University Hospital, London, and £1550 to NLW; NLW to select such books, manuscripts, pictures, prints etc. as it shall desire and devises the residue of his personal estate and all his real estate to trustees to sell and to invest the same in trust, a moiety to NLW to enlarge or erect buildings and a moiety to UCW, Aberystwyth, to maintain a professor / lecturer in Welsh literature, Welsh history or Welsh archaeology), together with associated deeds and documents, including case and opinion of counsel about transferring trust funds to NLW and UCW, 1926; appointment of NLW and UCW as new trustees of the said will, 1927; and release and indemnity by NLW and UCW of John William Patrick Parry the surviving executor of the said will, 1927.
