Biographical history
There was, it seems, only one complete typing of the manuscripts of The Anathemata. This typing was made from the 'final manuscript' (A6 and A7, dated 1949) and in the main survives in the 'final typescript' (T2) from which the galleys were set up. See notes by P. W. Davies, NLW, on development of text, sequence of typing, and arrangement of typescript copies (NLW ex 2393).

Scope and content
The series consists of typescript drafts of The Anathemata: the final typescript, pages of the original typescript rejected after re-typing, a few re-typed pages rejected because they had been re-typed a second time, and carbons which were used by David Jones as working copies.
