NLW MSS 503-8B were purchased in April 1913 from The George T. Juckes Co., Book Merchants and Exporters, The Ruskin Book Stores, 35 St Martin's Court, St Martin's Lane, London. It was then stated that 'these translations were made for Joseph Mayer, Goldsmith, Lord Street, Liverpool'.
