History

Several of the deeds relate to Glandewely and other lands in Llanfihangel-ar-arth, Carmarthenshire, owned by the Lloyd family. The estate appears to have been divided in 1750 between Posthuma and Catherine, the two daughters of David Lloyd, and a new settlement was made with their widowed mother in 1769. Other deeds concern the Golden Lion in Lammas Street, Carmarthen, and several properties in Aber-nant, which were in the hands of the Waters family by 1815. The connection between the deeds and the depositor has not been established.
