Scratched in hardpoint at the foot of f. 9 what appears to be 'Sir Thomas Llen [Llywelyn]', perhaps XV cent. On f. 131 a list of Welsh names and sums of money, XVI/XVII cent. Signatures of Richard Blayney, f. 102v, and Robert Jenyns, f. 131, XVII1 cent.; Francis Rogers 'of Tymerchion', f. 9, John Rogers, f. 40v, and Robert Hughes, f. 48, XVII2 cent. Bought in 1699 by Edward Lhuyd from Edward Davies of Tremeirchion, Lhuyd's note on f. 130v. Bought by Sir Thomas Phillipps from Thomas Rodd, 1847. Phillipps MS 12238. Bought for Lord Kenyon at the sale of the collection of Sir R. Leicester Harmsworth in 1945.

Speculum Juratoris (ff. 1-129), a theological treatise in six parts on swearing, by Thomas de Wygenhale, canon of the Praemonstratensian abbey of West Dereham and vicar of Holy Trinity, Cambridge, fl. 1384-1406. The first quire is wanting. The treatise is also known from BL Harleian MS 148. On ff. 129-130v is a treatise on blasphemy, also attributed to Thomas de Wygenhale, which does not occur in the Harleian MS. All copied by one hand.
