Taken by virtue of a commission to Sir Roger Vaughan, Thomas Hillarey, William Evans, clerk, LlB, Edward Herbert, and Thomas David Morgan, gent., dated 28 June, 3 Elizabeth. Names of present (and of some former) tenants; names, nature, and acreage of holdings, with some boundaries, annual rent, and date when payable. (G) Demesne lands in Llandryshonw in Crughoell (in charge of Parker), in tenure of Watkin Herbert, Esq., under grant dated 2 Feb. 22 Henry VIII (1530/1), to David ap Evan Melin, for term of 40 years, at annual rent of 3s.0, and a heriot when due. 2 acres land. (H) Demesne land in Llanveirshon in Crughoell, in tenure of John Welin, under grant dated 2 Feb. 22 Henry VIII (1530/1), for term of 40 years, at 1s.6 annual rent, and a heriot when due. 1 acre land. (I) 'Salvag' or 'Montan' land in Crughoell, in charge of the English Reeve. In tenure of John David Grow, under grant, dated 2 Feb. 22 Henry VIII (1530/1), for term of 40 years, to John Thomas.
