A warrant of the Privy Council, March 14, 1601/2, authorising baron Buckhurst, Lord High Treasurer of England, to pay to Sir John Vaughan, or to his assign, Griffith Lloyd, the sum of three hundred and fifty pounds, being the charge of arming, 'apparelling', and transporting one hundred men from Carmarthenshire for military service in Ireland.
