Family settlements and associated documents of Sir Pryse Pryse, formerly Pryse Loveden (d. 1906)., 1860-1907. They include abstracts of earlier settlements and disentailing deeds of the estates of Pryse Loveden and Sir Pryse Pryse, 1838-1880; abstract of the marriage settlement of John Pughe Pryse of Bwlchbychan, Carmarthenshire, and Decima Dorothea Rice of Llwynybrain, Llandovery, 1881; documents concerning annuities and portions granted to Harriet Thiebault, 1860, to Miss Margaret Pryse in her marriage to Thomas Holford, 1869, 1881, and to Edward Lewis Pryse and John Pugh Vaughan Pryse, 1879; and release and indemnity to the Pryse trustees, Thomas Pryce Lloyd and Rev. James Allen, relating to management of the estates in the 1846 settlement, 1861. Several deeds are by Sir Pryse Pryse, jointly with his son, Pryse Pryse Pryse, 1881-1906, in whom powers were vested for the purpose of raising and re-investing funds on the settled estates, effected by sales of parts of the Abernantbychan and Gogerddan estates, the purchase of Cwmsymlog, sale of timber, appointment of funds, revocation of uses of the 1880 settlement, etc. together with a release of the Cwmcynfelyn estate after payment of the mortgage, 1895, a settlement on Dame Louisa Joan Pryse, 1895, reconveyance of an annuity to Edward John Webley Parry Pryse, 1906, and notices to the trustees concerning a mortgage to Robert Grant, 1903-1907.
