Four autograph letters, [?1840]-1841, from [Sir] John S[alusbury] P[iozzi] Salusbury, adopted son of Gabriel and Hester Lynch Piozzi, to the Rev. Thomas Raffles, Liverpool, mainly concerned with the exhibiting of Raffles' collection of autographs by the [Liverpool] Royal Institution (ff. 2-3).
Salusbury also refers, 9 December 1841, to [the Rev. Thomas] Pennant, son of Thomas Pennant of Downing and Salusbury's tenant at Brynbella (f. 4).
