Tom Macdonald wrote many short stories relating to Wales, Africa, Australia and China, some stories for children and general short stories. The stories known to have been published or broadcast are noted individually. Most of the stories are typescript and manuscript drafts, although there are some cuttings of stories that were published in magazines. Where there are different versions of the same story, the pagination listed shows the order of development, noting the most complete version last. Previous or alternative titles are noted.
