Evan Richards (fl. 1823-1873) farmed at Nanthenfoel, Llanfihangel Ystrad, Cardiganshire, and also kept an ale-house at Mydroilyn, Llanarth, Cardiganshire. His nephew was John Pugh, vicar of Llan-gors, Brecknockshire. Evan had a son, Thomas Richards, who was apprenticed as a saddler in 1858.
