Biographical history

Rhydderch Jones was a dramatist and television producer, who was born in 1935 in Aberllefenni, Merionethshire, and studied at Bangor Normal College. He was a teacher in London and Wales. In 1965 he joined the entertainment department at the BBC and produced stage plays for radio and television. The popular series ‘Fo a Fe’ was co-written by him and his friend Gwenlyn Parry. His biography of Ryan Davies was published in 1980.

May 2022 papers: Draft and fair-copied television film scripts (both Welsh and English versions) by Rhydderch Jones. Where script dialogue is in Welsh, direction notes are always in English, with the exception of ''Roedd Catarina o gwmpas ddoe', where both dialogue and direction notes are in Welsh. = Papurau Mai 2022: Sgriptiau drafft a chopi teg (fersiynau Cymraeg a Saesneg) o ffilmiau ar gyfer y teledu gan Rhydderch Jones.
