Rentals of the adjoining man's Crickhowell in p's Llangenni, Llanbedr, Llangatwg, Llanelli and Partrishow, Tretwr, in p's Cwm-du and Llangynidr, and, from BBA2/82, Cwm-du in p's Cwm-du, Crickhowell, Llangatwg and Llanbedr [Ystrad Yw] until BBA1/198, and in bor. Crickhowell. Many of the rentals are duplicates and there are triplicate copies for the years 1761 and 1813 and 1815. They have been audited with the exception of 1789, 1801, 1833, 1903, 1922 and 1933. The rentals also include details of income from other sources, such as from the sale of timber and wood, mines, and tithes. The first appearance of such sources are noted, together with other relevant dates. Income from lime kilms first appears in 1780 and continues with gaps until 1926. Sale of timber and wood first appears in 1786 and continues with gaps until 1932. Income from mines first appears in 1791 and continues with gaps until 1878. Income from stone quarries also first appears in 1791 and continues with gaps until 1932. Income from turnpike interest first appears in 1792 and continues with gaps until 1844. Income from felons' goods and forfeitures appears in 1792 only. Income from canal shares first appears in 1795 and continues with gaps until 1837. Income from coal mines first appears in 1800 and continues with gaps until 1932. Income from tithe collections first appears in 1809 and continues with gaps until 1932. Income from clay also first appears in 1809 and continues without gaps until 1812. Income from the Hay Railway first appears in 1828 and continues with gaps until 1837. Income from the Usk Fishery also first appears in 1828 and continues with gaps until 1834. Income from the sales of garden produce appears in 1906 only. Profits from the sale of land are noted in three rentals, 1802, 1839 and 1873.
