A rental of the estate of Watkin Williams Wynn in the counties of Denbigh, Montgomery, Merioneth, and Caernarvon, 1725, in the collection of John Davies, with accounts of disbursements, 1725-1726.

A notebook recording sums of money expended on clothes, schooling, books, etc., for Hedd Lloyd [of Hafodunos] ? by his sister, 1662-1668, and rents received and disbursements made in respect of the Hauodynos estate, 1666-1669. An indenture (parchment) dated 19 October 1637, being a further mortgage of a parcel of land called ffrith y kreigie in Branan and Marchalett, co. Denbigh, has been sewn on as a protective covering.

A rental of the Hafodunos estate belonging to John Lloyd, Esq., for the year ending Michaelmas 1787, with statements of individual tenants' accounts with regard to rents then due, and a statement of accounts between Thomas Williams [?as agent for the estate] and John Lloyd for the period June 1787 to May 1788.

A note book containing financial and other miscellaneous entries for the years 1648-1649, 1668-1675, 1680, and 1686. The financial entries include accounts of rents received, servants' wages paid, sums 'layd out towards the repairing of the bridges & high way leading from Llangerniw to Llanrost' (1672), and various other disbursements. Other entries include notes on tenants in dower, and fee simple, a list of items 'delivered to Rice ye deryman ye 11th of May 1680 vpon ye account of Husbandry', and a list of 'all the things that I have bought beloning [sic] to husbandry'.

A composite manuscript volume lettered on the spine 'MSS. Collections Relative to Wales, II', being a companion volume to, and a continuation of, NLW MS 6209E, which is also a composite manuscript (sections numbered I-XIII) bound in a similar manner and lettered on the spine 'MSS. Collections Relative to Wales, I'. It appears that the two volumes originally formed one folio manuscript belonging to Edward Lhuyd made up of transcripts by his assistants, contributions by Henry Rowlands and Hugh Thomas, and fragments of earlier manuscripts (see pp. 14-15 of NLW MS 13918F, 'Catalogue of Welsh M.S.S. in Beechwood Library by the Reverend Mr John Jones [?1746-1827] M.A. Fellow of Jesus College Oxon, 1781', i.e. part of the Sebright collection. A miscellaneous rental and account book containing entries for the period 1675-1707, originally the book of Hedd Lloyd [of Hafodunos]. The contents include 'A rent roll of the lands & possessions of Hedd Lloyd, Esqr. in the parish of llangernew & elsewhere in the county of Denbigh taken this 17th day of September 1675 . . .' referring to lands in the parish of Llangernew, the tithe of the parsonage of Llangernew, lands in Trovarth, and certain fee farm rents; 'A particular of the names of the seuerall closes or parcells of lands in cluded in the demesne of Havodvnnos together with the Rent they have bin sett att . . .' [1675]; accounts of rents received in May and at Michaelmas [16]77-1696, of presents received [ 16]77-1696, and of fee farm rents received 1680-1707 [? all in respect of the Hafodunos estate]; entries relating to tithes [?of the parish of Llangernew] and other financial items during the period [16]78-1706/7; and a copy of a warrant, dated 1677, directed to the collectors of the taxes assessed in the parish of Llangernew for levying the taxes then due.

A volume containing a rental for the year 1661 of the demesne of Hauodynnos, and of lands in Llansanan [co. Denbigh] held by virtue of a lease granted by Mr. Rob[er]t Wynne of Dyffryn Aled to Mr. Henry Lloyd of Hauod ynnos, deceased; an account of rents received in respect of the demesne of Hauod ynnos and of lands in Llansanan aforesaid, and of rents received from Hauod ynnos tenants, May and Michaelmas 1661; accounts of money received [? from the sale of] horses, cattle, sheep, crops, etc., and of presents received, 1661; and a summary of accounts [? in respect of the Hafodunos estate] for the period 6 November 1661 to 9 May 1662 by Dauid Lewis.

An imperfect rental of the lordship of Ros, ?Reuonyok, and Keym[er]gh, for the year ending Michaelmas 1451.

A rental of rents [due to the Crown] in the counties of Anglesey, Carnarvon, Chester, Denbigh, Flint, Merioneth, and Montgomery in 1781, with [the auditor's] remarks. At the beginning of the volume is a list headed 'List of North Wales Debentures', being an account of sums payable in fees and otherwise to Crown officials (such as the baron of Carnarvon exchequer, the sheriffs of the six counties, the constables of Beaumaris, Carnarvon, Conway, Harleigh and Flint castles, the chief forester of Snowdon, etc.,) and to other persons in North Wales.

Rental, 1810-1840 and 1848-1851, of the estates of the Reverend Maurice Wynne, vicar of Great Wenlock and rector of Bangor Is-coed, comprising premises in the parishes of Overton, co. Flint, Llanrhaeadr-yng-Nghinmeirch and Nantglyn, co. Denbigh, and in Bishop's Castle, co. Salop.

A rental for the half-year ending 29 September, 1867, of the Rhug estate of the trustees of the Hon. C. H. Wynn in the parishes of Corwen, Gwyddelwern, Llangar, Llanfor, Llandrillo, and Llansantffraid, Merioneth, together with particulars of incidental receipts, interest due on mortgages, and disbursements, 1868.

An account of the rents received annually from the tenants of the Wickwer [sic] estate, and of other incidental sums received on behalf of John Lloyd during the period 1728-1742 by his mother [Phoebe Lloyd of Hafodunos and Wigfair]. At the end of the account is a note dated 9 November 1751, whereby John Lloyd grants his mother a discharge in respect of the sums received on his behalf.

An account of rents received, 1727-1748, from the tenants of Wickwer demesne and of other tenements and lands on the Wickwer estate. Loose papers inserted in the volume include a translation into English of Horace, Ode XXXVII (Book I), a letter from Will[ia]m Williams from Llanrwst, to John Lloyd at Havodunos, 17 September 1751, enclosing an account of sums due to the writer (endorsed with a receipt), and a letter from R. Lloyd from Cefn, to . . ., 8 March 1768, concerning arrangements to pay rent.

An account of rents, etc., received annually from the tenants of John Lloyd [of Wigfair] to his use during the period 1728-1742. For the years 1728-1733 a note is also made of the total amount expended each year on behalf of 'Jacky Lloyd'. The receipts recorded in this volume correspond, almost item for item, to those contained in the account rendered in the preceding manuscript NLW MS 12486.
