1 William Strode of p. St George Hanover Square, Middlesex, esq., eldest son and heir of William Strode of Punsborn, Hertfordshire, esq., dec., by Lady Ann his wife, one of the daughters of James, earl of Salisbury, dec., by Ann his wife, dec., one of the daughters of Thomas, earl of Thanet, dec., and James Strode of Harley Street, Middlesex, esq., the youngest son of the said William Strode and Ann, both dec. 2 Sir Matthew Lamb of Brockett Hall, Hertfordshire, bart, the surviving trustee of the settlement of William Strode, dec. Release by William Strode and James Strode of their respective shares in £5,000 secured by the pre-nuptial settlement, dated 11 Feb. 1708, of the said James, earl of Salisbury, and Ann his wife, which provided a sum of £10,000 for the younger children, under which the said Lady Ann Strode, one of four younger children of the marriage, was entituled to £2,500. Recites the said pre-nuptial settlement. Endorsed: receipts of the said James Strode for £2,222.4.5 and of the said William Strode for £555.11.1.
