1 Godolphin Edwards of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, esq., and Francis Turner Blithe of the same, esq., devisees in trust named in the Will of James Downes late of the same, esq., dec. 2 Sarah Downes of the same, widow, mother in law and sole executrix of the late James Downes. 3 Rev. Thomas Cooke of Kidderminster, Worcestershire, clerk, cousin and heir at law of the said James Downes. 4 John Cooke of Kilnhurst Forge, Yorkshire, iron master. Release by 1, by the consent of 2 and 3, and by 2 and 3, to 4, of a capital m. in a street called Murivance, otherwise Swan hill, p. St Chad in the town of Shrewsbury, a m. adjoining the same on one side and abutting on Cross hill street in the said p., three dwelling houses in Dogpole street, p. St Mary, a m. in Astley within the liberties of the town of Shrewsbury and two m's in t. Clothye, p. Kerry, co. Mont., subject to an annuity of £20 to 2 and to £112.10.0 to be raised by 1 to pay legacies. Consideration: £1,273.15.5. Recites the Will of James Downes in 1745 who devised to 1 his real estate in trust to sell to pay his debts and legacies and that the remainder of his real estate should be vested in 1 in trust for 2 for life and after her death to the use of 3 charged nevertheless with the payment of an annuity of £20 to 2 for life and legacies amounting to £112.10.0, that JD's debts and legacies which had to be paid immediately after his death amounted to £1,273.15.5 which 4 had agreed to advance in order to pay the debts and legacies and that 1 have agreed to convey the premises to 4 subject to another annuity of £5 to 2 copy.
