Note
According to a letter from Peter Davis to Dr A. Sainsbury of the Institute of Zoology, London, 26 Dec. 1991 (in E 27 below) : "We already collect small blood samples for genetic fingerprinting and the study of the problem of loss of genetic diversity in Welsh kites, by the Dept. of Genetics at Nottingham University. The project is carried out by Miss C. May (a Ph.D student) under the supervision of Dr. David Parkin."
