Quitclaim by Wenthlian, daughter of Morgan, to Margam Abbey, of a meadow and gorse land (de Spinis), held of her father, and afterwards given to the Abbey by Leisan and Owein her brothers. The land lies from the muddy ford (vadum lutosum) of Hwitherel, towards the east, and towards the north as far as the land of Seiet. Witnesses: William de Lichesfeld', Brother Joceline and Brother Richard, conversi of Margam; John de Golcl[iffe], Wrunu, son of Philip; Jago Seis, Richard Walensis. Latin. Seal, red wax, from a rude stamp, appended by a plaited cord of variegated thread.
