Quitclaim by 1 of a m. or inn called Lower Chequer, closes or parcels of land (40 a.), that is, parcels of land (6 a.) in the tenure of Richard Day, gent., since dec., dispersed in the common fields called Fosterwood, closes and parcels of pasture and woodground (10 a.) called Deaths, a parcel of land and woodground called Huckstall, otherwise Uagstooles (7 a.), adjoining the pale of Betchworth Park, two closes and parcels of land and pasture (6 a.) adjoining the said park pale in the tenure of Edward Sheffeild, a parcel of land and pasture called Barnehawes (3 a.), a parcel of land (1 a.) in the common field called Stonyland, a parcel of land and pasture called Kennells (2 a.) lying on 'this' side of Cotnam Deane, a croft of land (2 a.) on the north side of the highway from Dorking to Reigate, in the tenure of Widow Day, a little pightell or parcel of meadow called Standbridge Mead (1/2 a.), a tmt and orchard (1 a.) on the west side of the highway to Newdegate, in the tenure of Mathew Neale, a little parcel of land in East Street, in the tenure of John Barnett and adjoining the lands of Sir Richard Sands, an annual rent of 18d. for a parcel of land called Squyres in Wesbech, three closes of meadow and pasture called Spitle Heath Feild and Spitle Heath Meadow (11 a.), a little parcel of land or meadow (1/2 a.) adjoining the tmt of Richard Shoes, in the tenure of John Combes, and all other m's, lands, etc., purchased by Edward Goodwyn, gent., from Edward Carpenter and Robert Kyleston (see no. 10), all in p. Dorking, and since bargained and sold to Jasper Goodwyn and Acknowledgment by 1 that the whole of the consideration money was the proper money of 2. Recites a bargain and sale of the premises, dated 31 Oct. 1636, by Jasper Goodwyn the elder of Dorking, gent., to 1 and 2. Endorsed: '(3)'.
