"Propositions (copy) of Sir Charles Morgan to Messrs Prothero and Phillips for a demise to them of five a. of meadow land late in the occupation of John Cocker situate at Risca (subject to any interest that Messrs Sanders and Leman or either of them may have therein) with liberty to erect workmen's houses and any other erections necessary for the use of the colliery thereon, to deposit rubbish, make roads to, and vary same, as occasion may require, together with a way leave or right or way under and over the said five a. and under other land of Sir C. Morgan (with liberty to vary same as may be deemed expedient) lying between that land and the land of the Rev. Howell Williams (subject nevertheless as aforesaid) with liberty to bring through the said way leave the coal that Messrs Prothero and Phillips now have taken or may take of the Mesdames Rees, the said Howell Williams, and Mr Thomas Edwards, subject to the restrictions and covenants aforementioned"; also the answers of Messrs Prothero and Phillips, copies of correspondence, etc.
