Agreements between the Trust, the Romilly estate, the Great Western Railway, the Vale of Glamorgan Railway, Barry Urban District Council, lessees and purchasers, including leases, underleases, assignments, mortgages, surrenders, licenses to carry out work, sales of freehold reversions and other deeds of sale of properties at Porth-y-Castell, Barry, together with correspondence between the Trust, solicitors, architects, contractors, estate agents, lessees, purchasers, banks, insurers, building societies, railway companies, town planners, Barry Garden Suburb, Barry Urban District Council, Barry Borough Council and the Land Charges Registry concerning proposed buildings, specification of buildings, planning permission, clearance of plots, construction of buildings, leases, underleases, assignments, mortgages, restrictive covenants, sales of freehold reversions, other sales of property, ground rents, deaths and probates of tenants, insurance, alterations and additions to properties, boundaries, easements, provision of utilities, drains and sewers, roads, footpaths, street works expenses, postal numbers of houses, uses of properties, weeds and trees, allotments and waste ground, camping, unauthorised refuse tipping and other nuisances, legal proceedings on non-payment of rents and bankruptcy of lessees, architects' and solicitors' fees, and office chairs, with related memoranda, notices, certificates, insurance policies, forms, drawings, plans, accounts, receipts, notes, press cuttings and photographs, as well as a few papers that also relate to the Castle Farm estate (E1/52/6), Trem-y-Don and Lakeside (E1/52 passim).
