Buckland Thomas, 1955-1958. = Papers of Jack Buckland Thomas who was in the army with Hedd Wyn (Ellis Humphrey Evans, 1887-1917), bard of the Black Chair at the National Eisteddfod in Birkenhead in 1917 for his ode 'Yr arwr' (The hero), including a letter from Evan Evans (father of Hedd Wyn), 1917, relating to the whereabouts of the original copy of the ode, together with notes of sermons heard by J. Buckland Thomas, 1955-1958.
