Ysgrifennodd Ennis Evans (1953-82) o Dreffynnon, sir y Fflint, draethawd ymchwil ar fywyd a gwaith y nofelydd Daniel Owen (1836-1895). Cyhoeddwyd ei rhestr o gerddi Owen yn Llên Cymru, 15, 1987-1988, ar ôl ei marwolaeth. Cyhoeddodd hefyd Y Gri Unig (Llandysul, 1975) a Pruddiaith: Storiâu Byrion (Llandysul, 1981).
