History
Condry took considerable interest in the discoveries of past and contemporary naturalists. He was aware of the influence of the early Snowdonia botanists, and he took a particular interest in the work of Edward Lhuyd. Throughout his professional career and his private researches, he maintained contact with a large number of conservationists, members of various naturalists' trusts, birdwatchers, other wildlife and plant enthusiasts, and newspaper correspondents. Among those with whom he developed a special rapport was E.H.T. Bible of Aberdovey, whose nature diaries he later acquired.
