Archival history
Vincent's papers were supposedly inherited by his brother, John Vincent of Fishguard, master mariner (d. 1891). However the present volumes evidently ended up in the possession of Sir Lawrence Jenkins (1857-1928), Cilbronnau (who also owned NLW MS 5603B), who donated them to the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (where they were kept latterly in boxes marked 'MANUSCRIPT NOTES & TEXTS (JENKINS)').
